NIMRD Showcases Marine Innovation at Tetrafest 2025
The National Institute for Marine Research and Development (NIMRD), a key OBAMA-NEXT partner in the coast of the Black Sea, took part in the 2025 Tetrafest Technology Transfer Festival, presenting innovative work in aquaculture and marine research.
At their stand, NIMRD engaged with a wide audience, highlighting advances in knowledge on a wide diversity of marine species, from algae to mollusc and fish. The team reported strong national interest in their work, reflecting growing recognition of marine research as a driver for innovation and sustainability.
Participation in Tetrafest 2025 also enabled NIMRD to strengthen existing partnerships and explore new strategic collaborations, reinforcing OBAMA-NEXT’s commitment to stakeholder engagement and the practical application of marine science across Europe.
