SUMMER SCHOOLS
Within the scope of the OBAMA-NEXT project, several summer schools have been co-organized, in collaboration with other Horizon Europe projects.

Innovative and practical tools for monitoring and assessing multiple human pressures affecting biodiversity in marine systems
The summer school took place in San Sebastián (Spain) and was organized by the following Horizon Europe projects: GES4SEAS, OBAMA-NEXT, BiOcean5D, ACTNOW and MARBEFES.

Bridging the gap between marine science and policy: Communicating for an informed society and decision-making
The summer school took place in San Sebastián (Spain) and was organized by the following Horizon Europe projects: GES4SEAS, OBAMA-NEXT, BiOcean5D, ACTNOW, Marine SABRES and MARBEFES.

Artificial intelligence and citizen science in monitoring and assessing biodiversity and invasive species at sea
The summer school took place in San Sebastián (Spain) and was organized by the following Horizon Europe projects: GES4SEAS, OBAMA-NEXT, GuardIAS, BioBoost+, ANERIS and POMP.
The summer schools was attended by 48 participants from 19 countries. A scientific paper has been submitted.
